According to the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC) home page of their Web Site the Coalition was founded in 1981 in order to promote quality, accessible, non-profit child care that is regulated in the province of Ontario. Memberships in the coalition include a number of representatives from education, labor, child-welfare, injury prevention, health care, First Nations, rural, Francophone, social policy, professional, anti-poverty, student and womens organizations. This paper is a three page overview of the Coalition.
