This paper examines the urban aboriginal population of Toronto. Quantitatively it notes the dispersed nature of Toronto's aboriginal population. Qualitatively, it employs interviews with visitors at an aboriginal drop-in center. It concludes that the urban aboriginal community in Toronto has a low profile due to dispersion, poverty, homelessness, transience and a host of reasons. 13 pgs, bibliography lists 10 sources.
