International Adoption of Older Children: Adjustment Issues, Problem Behaviors, Parenting (Stress)
This paper examines many of the factors found within the international adoption process in respect to problems faced by the child and the parents. This paper focuses specifically on children from Eastern Europe. There is a detailed discussion of the problems corresponding to mental, physical, and behavior problems which can arise from children from Eastern European adoptive institutions.
