This paper will describe the case of Lee Boyd Malvo in greater detail, as well as the mandate that has been established in many states to allow the death penalty as a valid punishment for those under age 18 that have committed serious crimes that warrant such a punishment. The arguments against such actions will also be addressed in the context of this discussion.
