Neural Network Architectures and Applications in Medical Imaging
This paper addresses issues involving using neural network systems from a general standpoint first. It outlines the basic history of neural networks from a chronological basis and lays out the framework for the interdisciplinary basis of the application of neural networks to medical technology. The use of neural networks in making diagnoses of cardiovascular health is specifically examined.
